What makes Kaukau Katering unique?

Being raised in the melting pot of cultures that is Hawaii introduced me to a wide variety of cuisines, established my culinary foundation and was where my love of food began. Cooking for me is a pleasure that I love to share. I enjoy creating and preparing dishes from around the world, but my favorite is Hawaiian Island cuisine. Now that I live in Maine, my Native Hawaiian heritage along with the intertwining of cultures and cuisines I grew up with on the islands, has given me the opportunity to provide an authentic Hawaiian culinary experience to people of the Mainland (Continental U.S.), normally unattainable outside of Hawaii. The cooking of Hawaiian food is unique, distinct, and continues to grow in popularity world wide. You can taste and feel Hawaii in every bite you take. I attribute the extraordinary tastes of Hawaiian food to the amazing mix of cultures and flavors that make Hawaii unique.
